More details to follow on our upcoming seminars:
Ethics Violations By Federal Contractors – The
Stakes Are Higher Today: Federal procuring agencies and
the Department of Justice both have acquired strong new
tools in recent years to deal with perceived fraud or
other misconduct by government contractors and
subcontractors. Courts, also, have recently imposed very
severe remedies -- often far disproportionate to the
alleged misconduct. Our experts will discuss these new
challenges in the federal marketplace, and outline
strategies for dealing with the new environment.
(February 20, 2008)
Intellectual Property and Government Contracting: Our specialists will discuss intellectual
property in U.S. Government contracting, looking at both
the civil and defense regulatory environments; and a
discussion of methodologies for preserving contractor
rights in key technologies, including recent
developments and case law concerning contractor rights
in technical data, computer software and inventions
developed with federal and IR&D funding (April 2008).
